What is the Telephone Number for Waste Management (Trash, Recycling and Bulk Pickup)?

1-800-972-4545 (any extension will transfer you to the Call Center)
Hours: 8: 00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

 

Trash and Recycling will be delayed by one day during the following weeks with Monday holidays: May 27th, September 2nd, October 14th, and November 11th.

Trash and Recycling will also be delayed by one day after the following midweek holidays: July 4th, November 28th and December 25th.

Why Did the Trash Company Not Pick up My Trash?

If you have larger than a 34 gallon barrel, Waste Management will not take your trash. The weight limit is 35 lbs.

Where Can I Buy Purple Trash Bags?

Bags are available at Cataldo's Hardware - Cumberland Farms - Mobil Service Center, South Street - Sheldonville Country Store - Shaw's and Big Y in Franklin - Stop & Shop in Franklin, Foxboro and Plainville. Purple trash bags are not available at Town Hall.

Where Can I Buy a Recycling Bin?

Recycling bins are available at the Board of Selectmen's office for $8.00 each.

What are Town Hall Hours?

Monday - 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Tuesday - 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Wednesday - 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Thursday - 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Friday - 8:00 a.m. to 12 noon

It is recommended that you call the office that you have business with in advance as some offices are only staffed part-time. All Town Offices will be closed on the following holidays:  May 27, July 4, September 2, October 14, November 11, November 28, December 25.

What Town Office Do I See for a Dog License?

Dog Licenses for 2013 are available at the Town Clerk's office. An up to date rabies certificate is required. You can find the application form on the Town Clerk's webpage.

What Town Office Do I See for a Lake Pearl Parking Permit?

Lake Pearl Boat Landing Stickers are available at the Board of Selectmen's office. Wrentham residents $40.00/$20.00 (for 60 and over), non-residents  - $65.00. Access to Boat Landing for pleasure boating is restricted to residents only. Non-residents are only allowed to fish. Applications require name, address, birth year, telephone number, valid driver's license, and boat registration. Non-residents must present a valid 2013 fishing license.
