Equipment Operator - Department of Public Works

The Town of Wrentham, Department of Public Works, is accepting applications for a full-time Equipment Operator for the Highway/Parks Division. Position consists of performing varied manual and equipment operating duties in the operation, construction and maintenance of the Towns’ public roadways, parks and cemeteries.  Applicants must have a valid Class B Driver’s License with air brake endorsement and/or a MA Hoisting Engineers License with appropriate endorsements. Pay scale based on qualifications and experience.

Custodian/ Laborer: Part-Time Evenings

The Town of Wrentham Department of Public Works is hiring one part-time evening custodian. The position involves cleaning, repairing, and maintaining Town owned facilities and grounds. Custodians must be able to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, use hand and power tools, and interact well with staff and members of the community. The hours are Tuesday and Thursday 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.. Fridays from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. for a total of 19 hours per week (Some flexibility in hours may be possible). Candidate must be able to remove snow from buildings and grounds upon request. May be required to assist other Public Works Division when needed. Starting rate is $18.50 per hour. Candidate must be able to remove snow from buildings and grounds upon request. May be required to assist other Public Works Division when needed. Starting rate is $18.50 per hour.
